Our certified arborists know which tool to use for each job to maximize our services. Some of our most valuable equipment includes the LEO spider lift, the knuckle boom crane, and the gehl loader.
Whether trimming trees or removing stumps, we use turf-friendly equipment to avoid any damage to your lawn. We're so committed to protecting your landscaping we even put down fiberglass mats on lawns to avoid any damage! And unlike some tree care companies, we clean up after ourselves and leave your property in better condition than when we arrived.
The LEO 30 Spider Lift offers Superior Results
The LEO 30 Spider Lift is extremely versatile, allowing our Milwaukee tree trimming contractors to work in tight locations (like small backyards) and complete complex jobs quickly. The LEO outrigger system, which extends up to 100 ft., is self-propelling and capable of trimming trees and assisting in tree removal in less than ideal terrain. Weight is distributed evenly over the machine’s rubber tracks to minimize ground impact. Stabilizing arms extend from the base to keep it from tipping.
We use the LEO system to reach the tall branches in spaces where a larger crane just won't fit.
The Knuckle Boom Crane
Our 47 metric ton Effer knuckle boom crane extends to 112 feet, with a reach of 97 feet. Also known as a loader crane or articulating crane, it's able to reach over most houses without endangering the house or the land.
What really sets this crane apart from standard booms is its ability to bend like your finger can bend at the knuckle. This is precisely why it is called a "knuckle boom."
As you can imagine, the ability to bend the boom of a crane is immensely useful when negotiating around residential lots where there simply isn't room for a standard telescoping crane. We can then trim branches or prune trees safely.
Avant 860i Loader
The Avant 860i Loader has an incredibly powerful lift and height capacity. It’s a versatile machine that allows our arborists to go where bigger machines can’t. While our team is removing unwanted stumps, trunks and debris from your yard, this machine has a low noise level for a comfortable day of work.
The driver has a perfect view of the work area, meaning clean-up after stump grinding or tree removal is extra efficient. With a low center of gravity, the machine is stable and safe for all working conditions.
WesternStar Log Loader
The WesternStar Log Loader makes transporting large pieces of wood or tree trunks easy. It’s built with strong metal to hold heavy loads for projects of all sizes. Large forks and a grapple are used to efficiently pick up heavy logs or entire stumps. The biggest advantage of using our log loader is that it can pick up a large number of wood pieces at once, shortening the loading time.
The truck bed is very spacious, so most landscaping projects can be completed in one go depending on the bulkiness of the load.
Vermeer BC 1800 A Chipper
Once your trees are cut down or your stumps are uprooted, we use our Vermeer Chipper to grind the large wood pieces down. This chipper is efficient in chipping enormous amounts of material very quickly. The chipper throws all the shredded material into the truck it’s attached to for easy clean-up.
Woodchippers save time, so our arborists can dispose of trees and other wood waste without exerting too much energy. They are also useful for creating little wood chips that can be used for a variety of landscaping projects around your home.
